Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III, the senior quality authority for precast and prestressed products. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare plants for PCI audits and DOT approvals, audit supplier plants, and supervise Level I and II inspectors.

Candidates must hold PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III with 6+ years in precast QC, strong PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT specs, and solid experience hosting audits and coordinating with

PCI Level III certification current; 6+ years in precast QC including supervision.
Strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT specs.
Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit; credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and inspectors.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals per PCI and DOT requirements.
Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals; lead corrective actions.
Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
Audit supplier plants for owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
