Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III to act as the senior quality authority for precast and prestressed products. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals, and supervise Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.

Qualifications include current PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III with 6+ years of precast qc, command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT specs, and experience hosting

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III current with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals; lead corrective actions.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; supervise Level I and II inspectors.
