Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III, the senior QC authority for precast and prestressed products. You will establish plant QC programs, prepare for PCI certification audits, and resolve complex structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record.

The role requires PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, 6+ years of experience, and strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT specs.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit; credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
