Job summary

Cisco is seeking a seasoned Solutions Engineer for the SLED – North Star Operation. You will be a technical pre-sales leader, engaging with customers, account teams and product teams across a broad 14-state geography to drive business outcomes.

You will grow executive relationships, guide strategic initiatives, and champion technical excellence while traveling up to 75% to meet customers and align with campaigns.

Qualifications

• 10+ years industry experience with significant pre-sales solutions engineering background.
• Deep knowledge across Cisco Route/Switch and Security portfolios and competitive offerings.
• Proven track record leading strategic multi-architecture sales cycles and franchise wins.
• Internal senior-leadership support for operation/area deployment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical pre-sales advisor to SLED Account Teams and customers.
• Lead engagements and executive discussions to influence outcomes.
• Drive innovation and modernization opportunities across the portfolio.
• Develop executive relationships and champion customer needs in state geographies.
• Participate in campaigns, events, and advisory boards to gather feedback.
