Job summary

Alkira is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer, Pre-Sales (West) to lead the technical side of our largest enterprise deals from first conversation through POC to close. This remote US role requires residency in Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zones.

You will partner with Account Managers, present the Alkira platform to technical decision makers, and shape solutions with feedback to Product. Travel about 25% to support regional opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales engineering role.
• Strong networking fundamentals and routing know-how.
• Deep expertise in SD-WAN, VRFs, and cloud connectivity.
• Experience with VPNs, security architectures and enterprise networks.
• Ability to communicate clearly and present to customers.

Responsibilities

• Present and demo the Alkira platform to technical decision makers, from engineer to CIO.
• Clearly articulate value proposition and market landscape.
• Partner with Account Managers to understand customer needs and respond to RFPs.
• Scope, run and win Proof of Concepts end to end.
• Assist with design and deployment based on best practices.
• Provide feedback to Product Management from the customer lens.
• Track and push key customer feature requests toward implementation.
