Job summary

US HealthCare Careers is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to lead pre-sales initiatives, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and drive revenue across network resilience, application performance, and cybersecurity solutions. You will partner with Account Managers to map customer infrastructure, conduct PoCs, and contribute to strategic account planning.

A minimum of 10+ years in pre-sales or network roles is expected, with strong Cisco and cloud expertise.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 10+ years in a pre-sales engineering/Network Architect role with success.
Networking & Systems: Cisco routing/switching, TCP/IP, SNMP, Netflow, BGP, VoIP, LAN/WAN, Linux/Windows.
Technical Domains: Network performance, fault/alert, security concepts, virtualization, SDN/NFV, cloud.
Sales Training: Formal programs (Sandler, Challenger, Miller Heiman, Siebel, Afterburner).
RFPs & Audits: Experience creating/responding to RFIs/RFPs.
Must live in the New York City/Newark area.

Responsibilities

Pre-Sales Technical Leadership: Partner with Sales teams to investigate prospect needs and close deals.
Demos & PoCs: Create and deliver product demonstrations; lead whiteboard discussions; PoCs on remote and on-site.
Account Strategy & Expansion: Build relationships across IT silos; map infrastructure; identify upsell opportunities.
Forecasting & Pipeline Support: Assist leadership with accurate opportunity forecasting to hit targets.
Product & Market Feedback: Stay current on market trends and provide feedback to Product/Engineering.
