Job summary

AHEAD in the United States seeks a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer-Network to lead network infrastructure engagements, design architectures, and partner with sales to craft winning proposals. You will serve as a technical thought leader across campus wired/wireless, data center, and cloud networking.

The role requires pre-sales and data center experience, strong Cisco/Nexus knowledge, vendor relationships, and the ability to translate technical value into business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
• Pre-Sales and Data Center experience is required.
• Professional communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Participation, Leadership and Coordination of the AHEAD virtual team for Network Infrastructure.
• Maintain vendor technical and sales relationships with selected vendors.
• Design, architect, and consult for Ahead clients as a Network Specialist.
• Build skills, relationships, and industry credibility across segments to drive product, services and consulting sales.
• Support sales teams during engagements with advice, solutions or proposals.
• Develop relationships with account managers, partners and customers to support sales objectives.
• Strategize and execute technical sales calls.
• Prepare pre-sales documentation (configurations, pricing, services, proposals).
• Qualify opportunities by customer requirements, decision process and funding.
• Present and market design/value of Ahead solutions and business justification to customers.
