Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Senior Specialty Solutions Engineer-Network on the East Coast to lead network infrastructure initiatives, drive pre-sales strategies, and architect campus wireless and security solutions for enterprise clients. You will collaborate with sales, vendors, and engineers to deliver scalable networks and secure cloud connectivity.

Ideal candidates have deep Cisco/Nexus experience, SDN awareness, and a track record of guiding complex pre-sales engagements, mentoring others, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering preferred; Pre-Sales and Data Center experience required.
• Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to lead technical campaigns.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and work cross-functionally with sales and partners.

Responsibilities

• Participation, Leadership and Coordination of the AHEAD virtual team for Network Infrastructure.
• Maintain vendor technical and sales relationships with chosen vendors.
• Design, architect, and consult on network and security solutions for Ahead clients; build relationships across accounts.
• Develops proposals and strategies to meet customer technical and business requirements; support sales teams.
• Mentor entry-level team members and share subject matter expertise across the organization.
• Present and market design/value of Ahead solutions to customers and management; drive sales enablement.
