Job summary

Kiva in the United States is seeking a Senior Manager, Public Relations to lead PR and media strategy across campaigns with strategic partners, Lending Partners, and hubs. You’ll drive thought leadership amplification and analytics, partnering with Marketing and Partnerships to expand Kiva’s external media presence.

The role owns LinkedIn channel strategy, coordinates cross-functional campaigns, and reports on performance while ensuring alignment with Kiva’s mission to expand financial access.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in public relations and media relations, including direct media pitching and securing earned coverage.
• Experience developing and executing thought leadership strategy and channel activation.
• Experience coordinating multi-partner communications or marketing campaigns with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead PR and media strategy in collaboration with the Director and manage the PR firm relationship.
• Pull and translate borrower stories and impact metrics to support media opportunities.
• Own Kiva’s LinkedIn strategy and the amplification of thought leadership content.
• Identify opportunities for conferences, panels, awards, and industry events with Strategic Partnerships.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Partnerships teams to shape and execute campaigns.
