Job summary

DNV Energy Systems seeks a Senior Resource Integration (RI) Engineer in the Renewables & Power Grids group. You will lead studies for renewable and conventional resources, performing steady-state and dynamic analyses using PSCAD and related tools.

You will guide teammates, engage with clients, contribute to proposals and SOQs, and ensure high-quality, timely deliverables while staying current with ISOs/RTOs requirements and market changes.

Qualifications

• Strong background in power systems studies including load flow, stability, and short-circuit analysis.
• Experience performing PSCAD-based simulations for renewables and conventional generation.
• Ability to lead projects and collaborate with clients and internal teams.
• Familiarity with ISOs/RTOs interconnection processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform steady state and dynamic studies for renewables, storage, wind, and gas resources.
• Lead and develop scripts for study workflows to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Collaborate with team members on study requirements, including billable hours.
• Serve as SME for grid reliability and energy markets.
• Conduct generator interconnection studies per ISO/RTO requirements.
• Engage in industry meetings and contribute to research and tool development.
