Job summary

DNV Energy Systems is seeking a Senior Resource Integration Engineer in the Renewables & Power Grids group to lead power system studies and PSCAD model development for renewables and conventional resources in North America.

The role supports a dynamic hybrid schedule across multiple US offices and requires strong technical leadership, client engagement, and experience in grid reliability and ISO/RTO interfaces.

Qualifications

• Perform steady state, dynamic, short-circuit and PSCAD model development for renewable and conventional resources.
• Lead and advance studies in power flow, transient stability, short-circuit, EMT, harmonics, and techno-economics for transmission, distribution, load and generator applications.
• Guide and develop scripts to streamline study processes, ensuring high-quality, timely deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical studies for generator interconnection and system impact assessments.
• Collaborate with team members to understand study requirements including billable hours for proposals.
• Attend stakeholder meetings and stay updated on market changes affecting projects.
