Job summary

DNV Energy Systems seeks a Senior Resource Integration (RI) Engineer in North America to lead PSCAD modelling and power system studies for renewables and traditional resources. You will guide studies from scoping through deliverables while coordinating with clients in a dynamic hybrid work setting across multiple US offices.

The role requires deep technical expertise in grid reliability, market structures, and interconnection studies, with strong leadership and client-facing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead steady state, dynamic, short-circuit and EMT studies for renewables and conventional generation resources.
• Develop and lead script development for study processes, ensuring high quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with team members on understanding study requirements, including billable hours, and ensure timely results.
• Act as SME for grid reliability and/or energy markets.
• Engage in industry stakeholder meetings and stay updated on market changes and policies.
