Job summary

DNV Energy Systems in North America seeks a Senior Resource Integration (RI) Engineer to advance power-systems solutions across renewables and grids. You will lead studies and deliver technical insight for customers, with a focus on reliability and market participation.

Based in a hybrid setting with three days per week in a DNV office or client site, you will use PSCAD, PSS/E, and related tools to support ISO/RTO requirements and interconnection analysis, while guiding junior engineers and

Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of electric power systems and renewable energy.
• Hands-on experience with power-system tools listed (PSS/E, TARA, PSLF, Powerworld, PSCAD).
• Knowledge of NA RTO/ISO markets and interconnection practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform steady state, dynamic, short-circuit and PSCAD studies for renewables and conventional resources.
• Lead and mentor team members on study requirements including billable hours and deliverables.
• Contribute to business growth by cultivating customer relationships and responding to RFPs.
