Job summary
Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems division is seeking a Lead Power Systems Controls Engineer to lead the design, programming, installation, startup, and optimization of automated control and power management systems for critical infrastructure. This is a remote position with up to 25% travel throughout the Gulf Region and a company vehicle provided!
The PSC group delivers complete power systems and microgrid control solutions, integrating HMIs, PLCs, relays, and switchgear
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 7+ years in power distribution controls; or Master's with 5+ years; or 10+ years experience.
- Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record; background check required.
Responsibilities
- Create, modify, test, and deploy PLC, data concentrators, relays, generator controllers, and HMI software for automatic power transfer apps.
- Follow customer and internal specs for project implementation.
- Select components and create BOMs.
- Provide sketches and direction to Electrical Designers for drawings.
- Prepare SOO, test procedures, and customer submittals.
- Assist with factory testing and field start-ups.
- Troubleshoot systems onsite and remotely.
- Mentor junior engineers; manage project schedules and finances.
