Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services & Systems division seeks a Senior Power Systems Controls Engineer to lead design, programming, installation, startup, and optimization of automated power management and control systems for critical infrastructure. Expect hybrid work with ~50% travel across the Gulf Region and a competitive salary.

Responsibilities include developing PLC, data concentrators, and HMI solutions; coordinating protective relays and generator controllers; and delivering turnkey

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or 5+ years of power distribution controls experience with a high school diploma/GED.
Driver license with clean MVR; willing to undergo background checks.
Residence within 50 miles of listed job locations; no relocation offered.

Responsibilities

Create, modify, test, and deploy PLC, data concentrators, protection relays, and HMI software for automatic power transfer applications.
Quote turnkey control schemes including labor/materials and scope of work.
Assist with factory testing and field start-ups; troubleshoot on-site and remotely.
Select components and prepare BOMs; provide sketches to Electrical Designers.
