Job summary
Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services & Systems division seeks a Senior Power Systems Controls Engineer to lead the design, programming, installation, startup, maintenance, and optimization of automated control and power management systems.
This hybrid role involves about 50% travel across the Gulf Region in the United States, delivering innovative, reliable, and efficient power solutions for critical infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent with PLC experience.
- 3+ years power distribution controls experience or 5+ years with high school diploma.
- Must reside within 50-mile radius of posting locations.
- Valid driver''s license with clean MVR.
Responsibilities
- Design, program, install, startup, and maintain automated power control and power management systems.
- Lead turnkey control schemes and field tests.
- Deploy PLC, data concentrators, relays, HMIs for ATS applications.
- Troubleshoot systems onsite and remotely.
- Create BOMs and provide sketches to Electrical Designers.
- Collaborate with customers to deliver reliable, efficient power solutions.
