Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Senior Power Systems Controls Engineer to lead design, programming, installation, startup, maintenance, and optimization of automated control and power management systems for critical infrastructure. This hybrid role involves ~50% travel across the Central US region, collaborating with PSC team to deliver integrated HMIs, PLCs, relays, and switchgear controls.

The role offers a competitive salary range of $86,000 to $126,000 per year, paid overtime, and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent with relevant PLC experience.
• Experience with PLC programming and power distribution controls.
• Familiarity with HMI software and AutoCAD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, test, and deploy PLC/HMI software for power transfer applications (Main-Tie-Main, Main-Gen, etc.).
• Quote turnkey control schemes, analyze specifications and costs, and draft scopes of work.
• Assist with factory testing and field start-ups as required.
