Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems division seeks a Senior Power Systems Controls Engineer to lead design, programming, installation, startup, maintenance, and optimization of automated power management systems. This hybrid role requires roughly 50% travel across the Central Region of the United States.

The role offers a salary range of $86,000 to $126,000 per year with paid overtime and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering with 3+ years PLC programming and power distribution controls experience; or 5+ years with high school/GED.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean MVR; 50-mile radius residency required.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, test, and deploy PLC/HMI software for power transfer applications and control schemes.
• Quote turnkey control schemes including labor/materials and scope of work.
• Assist with factory testing and field start-ups; troubleshoot on-site and remotely.
• Provide BOMs and sketches to Electrical Designers.
