Job summary
Eaton Corporation’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems team is hiring to lead development, testing, and deployment of power systems control solutions. The role blends PLC/HMI programming with integration across major OEMs and requires strong knowledge of distribution controls.
The position is hybrid with about 35% travel and offers a competitive salary with paid overtime and a company vehicle. Applicants should have the required engineering degree and relevant experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; or Master’s degree with related power distribution controls experience.
- Current, unrestricted driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record as per Eaton policy.
Responsibilities
- Create, modify, test, and deploy software for PLCs and HMIs for power transfer applications.
- Follow customer and internal specifications for project implementation.
- Select components and create bill of materials.
- Provide sketches and direction to Electrical Designers for project drawings.
- Prepare sequences of operation (SOO) and test procedures.
- Assist with factory testing and field start-ups.
- Troubleshoot systems not functioning properly.
