Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting, LLC is seeking a Sr Project Manager to lead power-sector projects from generation facilities to substations in Houston. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, develop execution plans, and coordinate with clients, utilities, and vendors to deliver on time and within budget.

You will drive scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and risk, provide mentorship to engineers, and contribute to business development through client relationships and proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related technical discipline; Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
• PMP certification preferred, or ability to obtain certification.
• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in PM, engineering management, or construction leadership.
• Experience managing power generation, substations, transmission, distribution, or related electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary engineering and project teams to deliver power and utility projects on time and budget.
• Develop proposals, define execution strategies, and assemble project teams.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and risk across the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with clients, utilities, vendors, and construction partners.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior project engineers and managers.
