Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams on power generation, substation, and distribution projects from Omaha, NE. You will manage scope, schedule, cost and risk while delivering safe, high-quality results for clients and stakeholders.

The role requires 15+ years in project/engineering management within power infrastructure, PMP preferred, and the ability to coordinate across electrical, civil, structural, and controls disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related technical discipline; Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
• PMP certification preferred, or ability to obtain certification.
• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in project management, engineering management, construction management, or related leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience managing engineering or EPC-support projects in power generation, substations, transmission, distribution, utility interconnections, industrial power systems, or related electrical infrastructure.
• Experience managing projects involving multi-discipline engineering deliverables, client interface, project controls, estimating support, procurement coordination, construction support, and project closeout.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary engineering and project teams to deliver power generation, substation, and power distribution projects on time and within budget.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and risk throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate teams across electrical, civil, structural, mechanical, controls, environmental, estimating, procurement, and project controls resources.
• Support business development through client relationship management and proposal development.
• Provide training and mentorship to project engineers and associate managers.
