Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Project Manager to lead and execute power generation projects within its Consulting group. The role covers development, financing, and execution and involves frequent collaboration with clients, utilities, investors, and lenders.

The position offers a hybrid work schedule with in-office presence three days per week and a compensation package reflecting senior expertise in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering and 15+ years in the power industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering (or related) with 15+ years in power.
• Experience as owner’s/independent/design engineer for power projects.
• Experience leading engineering teams and multi-technology power projects.
• Experience with project contracts such as PPAs, EPCs, or asset transfers.

Responsibilities

• Develop consulting project execution plans to meet client needs.
• Review deliverables such as reports and studies.
• Lead project teams with clear technical directions.
• Manage hours and work to budget and scope.
• Develop staff expertise through training and mentoring.
• Prepare proposals for consulting projects.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality.
• Travel occasionally to project locations and client offices.
