Job summary

Stanley Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager with energy experience to lead Power Delivery projects across multiple offices. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk to deliver large, complex programs for generation facilities.

You will guide design teams, manage client relations, and drive business development while mentoring junior project managers. Hybrid work options supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in engineering, construction management, or business from an accredited college or university.
• 10+ years in Energy Engineering with at least 5 years in project management.
• Experience in Transmission Line, Substation, and Distribution projects
• Firm understanding of PMP Principles
• Proven ability to manage large multi-discipline programs and multi-office or multi-project portfolios
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Experience with Design Bid Build project delivery methods

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and implementation of medium to large multi-discipline engineering projects.
• Support business development: scoping, fee development, proposals, negotiations, contracts.
• Define project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and vendor lists after award.
• Form and manage project teams to execute tasks on schedule.
• Submit documents to authorities for code compliance and permits.
• Maintain client relationships and drive ongoing business development.
• Coordinate project engagements and stakeholder communications.
• Oversee day-to-day project activities and milestones.
• Prepare opening orders, outlines, schedules, executions, and closings.
• Monitor project performance against objectives (margin, revenue, etc.).
• Identify and manage risks and potential out-of-scope work, negotiate changes.
• Mentor other project managers and conduct portfolio/project reviews.
