Job summary

Sargent & Lundy in Chicago is seeking a Project Manager to lead energy/power projects in a hybrid work environment. You will act as the primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure objectives, schedules, and budgets are met.

You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, oversee scope, schedule, and cost, manage changes, drive risk management, and promote safety and quality culture while delivering on-time, on-budget results.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in energy/power industry or similar.
• 3+ years managing multiple projects and leading teams.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related field.
• Proven supervision of project teams and client/subcontractor management.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with lead managers and teams to align on scope, priorities, and deliverables.
• Manage client relationships and provide progress, risk, and cost updates.
• Own project scope, schedule, budget, and KPIs; maintain baselines and critical path.
• Handle scope changes and change orders with cost/schedule impacts.
