Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Project Manager to lead the execution of multiple utility transmission, substation, and distribution projects in a hybrid work setting. You will coordinate with internal and external departments to manage the full project lifecycle, including safety, schedule, budget, and client experience.

The role requires 7+ years in project management within utilities or construction, strong communication, and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Project Management of Utility, Construction, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience in capital project management.
• Experience as a firm/client liaison in a lead or support role.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel ~10–25% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of multiple transmission, substation, and distribution projects.
• Coordinate with internal and external departments to manage project lifecycle.
• Own all aspects of project performance including safety, schedule, budget, and client experience.
• Direct the project team, mentor members, and ensure accountability.
• Develop relationships with client stakeholders and functional leads.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Support reporting of KPIs for schedule, budget, and dashboards.
• Identify and control construction risk and changes.
• Communicate with stakeholders and prepare clear project reports.
• Analyze issues and drive corrective actions.
