Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Project Manager to lead and execute work for the development, financing, and execution of power generation projects. This role involves extensive interaction with developers, utilities, investors, and financial institutions, with a hybrid schedule requiring in-office work three days per week.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering and 15+ years in the power industry, including ownership/engineer roles and experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering with 15+ years in power.
• Experience as owner’s/independent/design engineer for power development and execution.
• Experience managing teams of engineers.
• Knowledge of multiple power generation technologies – solar, storage, wind, thermal.

Responsibilities

• Develop consulting project execution plan to meet client’s needs.
• Review deliverables such as reports and studies; lead project team with clear directions.
• Manage hours and work to budget and scope; mentor staff.
• Prepare proposals for consulting opportunities and support multiple projects.
• Travel occasionally to project locations and client offices.
