Job summary

Sargent & Lundy Consulting (SLC) seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead electric power consulting assignments. You will develop execution plans, guide engineering teams, and ensure projects meet client needs while managing budgets and timelines.

The role emphasizes leadership in due diligence, owner’s engineer services, and economic evaluations for thermal power projects. Fluency in Spanish is required for technical and commercial discussions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an ABET-accredited engineering program (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Civil).
15+ years of experience in the power industry including ownership/engineering roles.
Experience leading engineering teams and complex projects.
Feasibility studies and power project contracts experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare proposals for consulting projects and opportunities.
Develop execution plans to meet client needs and scope.
Lead project teams with clear technical direction and methodologies.
Manage hours, budgets, and schedules to keep projects on track.
Review deliverables such as reports and studies for quality and accuracy.
Support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards.
Occasional travel to project locations or client offices (domestic/international).
