Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Program Director for the Power & Energy Program Management Office with responsibilities across a multi-state footprint in the south-central U.S. The role leads large, complex EHV programs, governs projects, and ensures delivery excellence with embedded client support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of post-education experience in project or program management within power/energy.
• Experience delivering large-scale utility or capital infrastructure projects and programs.
• Advanced knowledge of project management principles, practices, and governance.
• Ability to travel across multi-state territory and work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the most complex and largest scale projects, managing budgets, forecasts, margins, KPIs and risks.
• Foster proactive client engagement and provide clear, timely reporting on progress.
• Participate in contract negotiations, presentations, and client governance.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams across multiple offices and locations.
• Develop and maintain project initiation, governance documents (PMP, QP, PSP, RMP) and ensure QA/QC.
• Provide strategic guidance to ensure profitable delivery and successful closeout.
