Job summary

WSP in the U.S. seeks a Senior Program Director to lead the Power & Energy PMO in Tulsa, OK, with options for additional south-central locations. The role oversees delivery of large, complex EHV programs with embedded client support and regional coordination across a dispersed portfolio.

The candidate will manage budgets, schedules, risks, and QA/QC, while maintaining strong client governance and proactive reporting. Travel across the region is expected to support project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related major, or equivalent technical experience.
• 15+ years of post-education experience in project/program management in power/energy/large capital infrastructure.
• Advanced knowledge of project delivery in A/E/C and client-governed environments.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and business acumen skills.
• Experience with multiple delivery models (DBB, EPC, PDB) and client governance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the most complex, largest-scale projects ensuring budgets, forecasts, margins, KPIs, and risks are well managed.
• Engage clients and stakeholders, maintain trusted relationships, and provide timely progress reporting.
• Participate in contract negotiations, presentations, and client meetings.
• Act as senior day-to-day client interface within governance, controls, safety, quality, and decision processes.
• Coordinate with client reps, delivery teams, and subcontractors to align priorities and ensure execution.
• Ensure profitable performance and successful completion of projects within the portfolio.
