Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Program Director to lead the Power & Energy Program Management Office in the south-central U.S. This role requires steering large, embedded client programs across multiple states, with regular travel to client sites and offices.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, risk, and QA/QC to ensure successful delivery and profitability. The position emphasizes governance, stakeholder engagement, and strategic advisory across an integrated team of professionals to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related major, or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of PM/Prog Mgmt in power/utility/large capital infra.
• Experience across DBB, EPC, PDB delivery models and client governance.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with business acumen.
• Experience leading large, multi-office programs and embedded client support.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, large-scale projects; manage budgets, forecasts, margins, KPIs.
• Engage stakeholders; provide clear reporting on progress.
• Participate in contract negotiations and client meetings.
• Serve as senior client interface; govern project controls and decision processes.
• Coordinate with clients, delivery teams, subcontractors across regional footprint.
• Ensure profitable performance and successful completion of projects.
• Provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams across offices.
• Develop and maintain governance docs (RMP, PMP, QP, PSP, Communications).
• Lead project controls, schedules, cost tracking, risk and issue management.
