Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Program Director for its Power & Energy Program Management Office. The role is based in Tulsa, OK, with consideration for nearby locations; frequent travel to client sites across a multi-state utility territory is required.

This position leads delivery for large, complex programs in the EHV transmission and distribution sector, ensuring governance, risk management, and profitable execution across distributed project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related major or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of post-education experience in project/program management in power/energy sectors.
• Advanced knowledge of project delivery in A/E/C with various delivery models.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and business acumen.
• Experience navigating client governance and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale, complex programs within EHV transmission and distribution.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, margins, and KPIs; monitor risks and contingencies.
• Engage stakeholders, provide timely reporting, and maintain client relationships.
• Coordinate with clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and regional offices.
• Develop governance documents (PMP, QP, PSP) and ensure QA/QC.
• Drive project controls, schedule/cost performance, and issue resolution.
