Job summary

WSP seeks a Senior Program Director for the Power & Energy Program Management Office, primarily based in Tulsa, OK, with preferred locations across the south-central U.S. You will lead complex EHV transmission and distribution programs, ensure performance, and engage stakeholders across WSP and client teams.

The role requires oversight of governance, budget, and schedules, with strong emphasis on embedded client support and regional coordination across dispersed project locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related major, or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of post-education experience in a project or program management role in power/utility infrastructure.
• Advanced knowledge of project delivery in A/E/C and client-led governance and controls.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with business acumen.
• Experience leading multiple large-scale projects and programs across matrixed organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the most complex and largest scale projects, manage budgets, forecasts, margins, KPIs, and risk contingencies.
• Foster proactive client engagement and provide clear reporting on progress.
• Participate in contract negotiation, presentations, and meetings.
• Serve as senior client interface within governance, controls, safety, quality, and reporting processes.
• Coordinate with client reps, delivery teams, and stakeholders to ensure consistent execution across regional footprint.
• Accountable for profitable performance and successful completion of projects within the portfolio.
• Provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams across offices and locations.
