Job summary

The Perry Group, a CDM Smith company, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager for heavy industrial power plants. You will define scopes, schedules, and budgets, coordinate stakeholders, and manage costs and profitability while guiding engineers and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have 13+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree, and PMI/DBIA certifications or plans to obtain them within 12 months. Travel is limited to about 10% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Thirteen (13) or more years of relevant work experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Create project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives for projects.
• Prepare detailed statements of work with work breakdown structures and budgets; secure approvals.
• Manage project costs to ensure profitability and timely client billings and payments.
• Review and approve subcontractor/vendor invoices to ensure timely payment to outside resources.
• Monitor project status, risks, and changes; communicate deadlines and assign tasks to the team.
• Coordinate and monitor technical work, submittals, and bid/tender processes; prepare monthly reports.
