Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 13+ years of relevant work experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification within 12 months of hire or on the Approved Project Manager list.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives for projects.
• Prepares detailed statements of work with work breakdown structures and gains concurrence from stakeholders.
• Manages project costs and profitability; ensures timely client billings and payments.
• Reviews and approves subcontractor/vendor invoices and monitors payments to outside resources.
• Monitors project risks and escalates as appropriate; manages change using change protocols.
• Communicates deadlines, assignments and objectives to the project team; prepares overall schedules and in-house budgets.
• Facilitates meetings with stakeholders; coordinates technical work and ensures delivery of project milestones.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers and coordinates with Project Construction Manager for bid events and closeout.
