Job summary

The Perry Group, a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with significant heavy industrial power plant experience. You will define scope, schedule, budgets, and ensure profitability while coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities include preparing plans, managing costs, overseeing payments, and guiding engineering and field teams. Travel is minimal; a PMP/CCM/DBIA certification within 12 months is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for project management roles.
• Thirteen or more years of relevant work experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, schedules and budgets with stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed statements of work and work breakdown structures.
• Manage costs and ensure project profitability.
• Oversee invoicing, payments and subcontractor invoices.
• Monitor risks, changes and project status; escalate as needed.
• Coordinate pre-bid meetings, bids and closeout activities.
