Job summary

WSP in the United States is seeking a POWER Testing and Energization Lead P&C Technician Field Services to support projects across multiple western states. The role focuses on high voltage substation testing, protection and control testing, and hands-on field work with a collaborative PTE team.

You will mentor technicians, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with engineers and subcontractors to deliver reliable field results while aligning with client requirements and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field testing teams at substations.
• Strong knowledge of protection and control testing procedures.
• Familiarity with relay test equipment and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for complex projects with technical guidance and supervision.
• Troubleshoot field issues, ensure safety and quality, escalate as needed.
• Coordinate with engineers and subcontractors to deliver tasks on time.
• Mentor technicians and manage site logistics and communications.
• Support project delivery with power delivery expertise and documentation.
