WSP USA is seeking a POWER Testing and Energization (PTE) Lead P&C Technician Field Services to support projects across Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, and Utah. You will lead field operations, perform protective relay testing, and ensure safety and quality on high‑voltage substations and power systems.

You will mentor technicians, coordinate with engineers and subcontractors, and act as the senior field representative, driving project readiness, data collection, and client communications

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with 15 kV–500 kV protection and controls testing.
• Expertise with SEL, Basler, Beckwith, and GE relays and protective schemes.
• Advanced testing/calibration of microprocessor relays and related control schemes.
• Experience with NETA, IEEE, NFPA standards for electrical field testing.

Responsabilidades

• Lead field operations for complex projects with technical guidance and on-site oversight.
• Perform on-site protective relay testing using test sets such as Omicron CMC 256/356 and Doble F6150.
• Mentor technicians and coordinate with engineers and subcontractors to deliver field tasks.
• Uphold safety standards and participate in daily safety briefings and JHA.
• Document site activities using field logs, digital tools, and mobile apps.
• Lead field readiness planning, including tool inspection and weather contingency measures.
