Worley Consulting—Power & New Energy unit in North America—seeks aSenior Technical Consultant who will drive complex power and energy infrastructure projects across the region. You’ll blend engineering rigor with client advisory work, leading technical analyses, feasibility studies, and strategic recommendations.

The role emphasizes transmission, distribution, substations, and renewable energy, with hybrid work in Houston and travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power) required. Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in utility/power projects (transmission, distribution, renewables).
• PE registration preferred or ability to obtain licensure in the United States.
• Experience transitioning from technical engineering to customer-facing consulting and project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform analyses for transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
• Conduct economic evaluations, feasibility studies, and investment analyses.
• Develop power system models and analyses using industry-standard tools.
• Support interconnection studies, grid integration, and energy transition initiatives.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and advisory deliverables for customers.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Assist in business development, scoping, and cost estimation.
