Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Subject Matter Expert - Power to lead technical direction on complex power generation, LNG, and energy infrastructure projects in the Houston area. You will advise clients and project teams, shape execution strategies, and ensure asset performance from concept through commercial operation.

The role requires deep power engineering expertise, leadership, and experience across simple-cycle to LNG-integrated facilities, with EPC/EPCM delivery exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Typically 25+ years of experience in power generation, LNG, industrial infrastructure, energy transition, or major capital projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred but not required.
• Expertise in simple-cycle and combined-cycle gas turbine facilities and LNG-integrated power plants.
• Experience delivering projects through EPC and EPCM delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and advisory services for power generation and energy infrastructure projects.
• Support project development activities including feasibility studies and front-end planning.
• Advise on EPC, EPCM, and hybrid execution models and readiness strategies.
• Evaluate risks, opportunities, readiness, and execution challenges across development and delivery phases.
• Review engineering deliverables, execution plans, schedules, startup strategies and critical paths.
• Provide expertise on thermal generation technologies, power systems, and balance-of-plant infrastructure.
• Support technology selection and project optimization initiatives for power facilities and assets.
• Provide guidance during construction, commissioning, startup, testing, and operational readiness activities.
• Conduct project assurance reviews, technical due diligence, and health checks.
• Assist proposals, technical reviews, and client presentations.
