Job summary

Worley is a global company delivering Power Networks projects, seeking a senior project engineer to coordinate multi-discipline engineering efforts and ensure safe, on-time delivery. You will work with clients, utilities, and internal teams to meet design and project requirements.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, scope and cost control, and effective communication to advance low-carbon infrastructure and AI-enabled delivery.

Qualifications

• Substantial technical, practical, and leadership experience in Power Networks project engineering.
• Experience with transmission line, distribution, substation, protection and controls, SCADA/telecom, or grid modernization projects.
• A recognized engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) status or ability to obtain licensure.

Responsibilities

• HSE focus throughout the project team and design, procurement, and construction activities.
• Establish and strengthen client and utility relationships through proactive communication.
• Manage budgets within Worley’s scope, including engineering hours and procurement support.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and monitor progress against milestones.
• Ensure compliance with client standards, codes, and project specifications.
• Coordinate inter-discipline interfaces across electrical, civil, and SCADA domains.
