Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Power) in California to lead complex power projects across generation, transmission, distribution, and substations. You will drive technical leadership, safety, and financial performance while coordinating global teams and ensuring client satisfaction.

The role emphasizes delivery excellence, risk management, and value creation through innovation and grid modernization initiatives to support the energy transition.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in power/utilities/energy infrastructure, with at least 12 years in PM, leadership, or supervisory roles.
• Experience delivering transmission, distribution, substation, or grid modernization projects.
• Experience across concept, feasibility, design, and execution phases.
• Strong understanding of codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks in power.
• Experience in EP/ EPC environments and working with global teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Define and manage project scope, objectives, schedule, productivity, and budget.
• Lead execution of power projects across generation, transmission lines, substations, distribution, and grid modernization.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Collaborate across Worley offices to deliver strategic power projects.
• Support a cross-sector approach to decarbonization initiatives.
