Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our national Power Generation team. You will lead multi-discipline projects, develop strategies, and drive success from pre-positioning to project completion, with significant client interaction across utility-scale gas and potential renewable energy plants.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in power projects, PE and PMP credentials, and experience as owner/engineer/OEM/EPC contractor.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field.
10 years related experience.
Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Commitment to employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain positive and proactive client relationships.
Achieve project schedule, quality, and profitability goals.
Serve as proposal champion/manager and assist with proposal preparation, review of contract terms and conditions, and evaluate risks associated with the services being offered.
Provide daily leadership to the project team and technical staff in completion of project activities.
Monitor project budget and schedule; develop recovery plans as needed.
Routinely report project progress to the client and internal teams.
All other duties as assigned.
