Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a Senior Electrical Power Engineer to join our national Power Generation team in the United States. You will lead design, studies and specifications for utility-scale gas and renewable projects, serving as Owner’s Engineer or Advisor.

We value mentoring, strong client relationships, and proposal development. A PE license and ABET-accredited degree are preferred, with 10+ years in power project execution and proficiency in ETAP, SKM, AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of experience
• Requires Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Extensive experience in Power Market Sector project execution
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Power Market Sector design software

Responsibilities

• Lead power generation design projects for utility-scale and renewable energy
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and staff
• Manage client relationships and contribute to proposals and fee builds
• Direct multi-discipline teams and ensure design quality and safety
