Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our national Power Generation team. You will lead the project mechanical effort, coordinate with other disciplines, and support detailed design and owner’s engineer assignments for utility-scale gas and renewable energy projects.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in power generation design, a PE license, and strong leadership as you manage budgets, schedules, and multi-site collaboration with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and PE license or equivalent.
• 10+ years in power generation with design/owner's engineer experience.
• Strong communication, budgeting, and scheduling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project mechanical team and coordinate with other disciplines.
