Job summary

WSP is seeking a Power & Energy Project Manager to lead EHV Transmission and Substation projects from our PMO. The role oversees financials, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction across a portfolio, with travel to client offices and periodic face-to-face meetings.

A senior-level candidate with strong leadership and PM software skills is required. Locations considered include Denver and multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical discipline or related experience.
• 10+ years of post-education project management experience in the industry.
• Experience delivering projects via DBB, EPC, or PDB delivery models.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with business acumen.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with leadership and clients.
• Self-led, detail-oriented, multi-tasking in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to lead mid-level to senior teams with QA/QC adherence.
• Proficiency with MS Office and PM software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with management and disciplines to support cost and schedule objectives.
• Lead development of proposals, cost estimates, scopes, schedules, and resources.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, cost control and change management.
• Provide regular project reporting to clients and stakeholders with mitigation strategies.
• Build strong client relationships and ensure consistent communication for satisfaction.
• Adhere to proven processes and develop new ones to standardize procedures.
• Ensure safety compliance and uphold project safety standards.
• Exercise ethical decision-making regarding funds and resources.
