Job summary

RTX is seeking a senior engineer for the Effector Analog & Power (EAP) team in Tucson, AZ. You will design, analyze, and test power conversion and analog circuitry, leading small teams and guiding circuit card development through design phases to integration.

Requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience or an advanced degree; DoD Secret clearance is required. The role offers relocation eligibility, a 9/80 schedule, and an onsite work model.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5 years of experience or an advanced STEM degree.
Experience with non-isolated converter topologies: buck, boost, buck-boost.
Experience with analog/digital electronics design including FETs/BJTs, op-amp, filters, data termination, and comparator circuits.
Proficiency with MATLAB/MathCAD/Mathematica or similar tools.

Responsibilities

Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion circuitry.
Lead small teams with schedule, budget, and technical execution.
Guide circuit card development from requirements to integration testing.
Define schedules for circuit-level tasking and assist ECAD drafters with layout.
