Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Project Manager for our Power Delivery Project Management team, supporting HV/EHV substation and transmission projects across multiple U.S. locations including Newark, NY and beyond.

The role requires leading project delivery, client relationships, and regional strategy with travel as needed. You will coordinate budgets, schedules, risk, and QA/QC, mentor staff, and ensure conformance with company standards while driving project success and client satisfaction in a

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field within Power & Energy.
12 years of post-education experience in a project management role within Power Delivery/Utility.
Minimum of 5 years applicable industry experience with IOUs, IPPs, Co-Ops, Munis, etc.
Minimum of 5 years leading engineering/construction teams on HV/EHV Substation and Transmission projects.
Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools: Contract, Meetings, Earned Value, Change, Risk, Schedule (CPM/Primavera), Financial Management.
Strong leadership and communication; ability to interact with senior management and clients.

Responsibilities

Provide PM leadership for HV and EHV Substation and Transmission projects, including budgets, forecasts, margins, and KPIs.
Engage project stakeholders, maintain relationships, and report progress.
Lead pursuit/initiation activities including Go/No-Go decisions, contract reviews, and risk mitigation.
