Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Project Manager for our Power Delivery Project Management team located in Rochester, NY; Syracuse, NY; New York City, NY; Boston, MA; Portland, ME; or Newark, NJ. The candidate may work from a mutually acceptable location within the region and must have the ability to travel to a WSP and/or Client office for periodic face-to-face meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 12+ years of post-education PM experience in Power Delivery/Utility.
• Experience leading engineering/construction teams for HV/EHV projects.
• Knowledge of contract management, risk and schedule controls.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for HV and EHV Substation/Transmission projects.
• Develop client relationships and manage project budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.
• Oversee risk management, QA/QC, and contract obligations.
• Lead project kick-off meetings and coordinate resources/subcontractors.
• Report monthly status to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Mentor staff and ensure documentation (PMP, QP, PSP) is up to date.
• Support pursuit activities and potential contract negotiations.
