Job summary

ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Power Delivery in Gainesville, FL. The role leads complex power delivery projects from proposal through closeout, coordinating engineers, surveyors, and controls staff to deliver on scope, schedule, and budget.

You will mentor junior staff, manage contracts and change, and ensure QA/QC and safety compliance across a portfolio of projects for public and investor-owned utilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience managing engineering or infrastructure projects.
• 5+ years managing transmission line and/or substation projects for electric utilities (required).
• PE registration (Electrical or Civil/Structural) or PMP certification (required).

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio of engineering projects for electric utilities.
• Develop and implement project execution plans (scope, schedule, budget, quality).
• Mentor junior project managers and strengthen PM practices.
• Manage contract administration, change orders, and risk management.
• Oversee project financials, invoicing, and client reporting.
