Job summary

ENERCON's Power Delivery Group seeks a Utility Major Projects Project Manager to lead engineering initiatives and manage schedules, budgets, risk, and client relations. The role involves overseeing engineers, designers, and subcontractors across Tampa, Palm Beach Gardens, and Lake Mary, FL, ensuring successful project delivery and strong stakeholder partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent technical training and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in electric utility engineering, construction, or project management.
• Experience managing large-scale electric utility projects strongly preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience building and maintaining project schedules and budgets.
• Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, decision-making, and presentation skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; MS Project, Primavera P6 and GIS preferred.
• Ability to travel locally throughout the service area 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects and manage all aspects of execution, including schedules, risk management, and financial health.
• Drive client satisfaction through effective communication and high-quality deliverables.
• Oversee engineers, designers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and report on project progress and requirements.
